Terms of Service

By using Wafra you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

1. What Wafra is

Wafra is an advertising platform for offers and discounts from independent shops in Bahrain. We sell nothing, we take no money from customers, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a shop — you buy from and pay the shop directly.

Wafra has no shopping cart, payment service or delivery. The shop alone is responsible for the product, its price, availability and handover, and any return, exchange or refund is governed by the shop's own policy.

Shops, separately, may be charged a subscription fee for listing their offers. That is between us and the shop and changes nothing for the customer. See section 6.

2. Offers belong to the shops

Every offer is created by the shop, which sets its own price, duration and conditions. We review offers before publishing them, but the shop alone is responsible for the accuracy of the price and details, for honouring the offer while it runs, for the quality of what is provided, and for any warranty, refund or exchange.

If an offer is wrong, expired, or a shop refuses to honour it, report it from the offer page and we will look into it. Any financial or contractual dispute, however, remains between you and the shop.

3. Your account

• You can browse every offer without an account.
• An account is only needed to sync saved offers, or to register a shop.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private.
• Your details must be accurate, and you may not sign up as someone else.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Obligations of shops

By registering a shop you confirm you are authorised to represent it, and you undertake:

• that offers are real and will be honoured as published, for their full duration;
• not to show a "before" price that was never actually charged;
• that you own the rights to the images and logos you upload, or have permission to use them, and that you grant Wafra the right to display them in the app and in its emails and marketing channels for the duration of the offer;
• not to publish anything that breaks Bahraini law or is abusive;
• to update or remove any offer that is no longer valid.

Only Wafra's administrators may approve, reject or pause an offer. We may suspend any shop that breaches these terms or attracts repeated, verified complaints.

5. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to break into or disrupt the app or reach other people's data; scrape its content or republish it commercially without permission; file false reports to damage a competitor; or create fake accounts.

6. Pricing

The app is entirely free for customers. Registering a shop is free at present. If paid plans are introduced we will announce them clearly beforehand, and no shop will ever be charged without its explicit agreement.

7. Limits of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and the service available, but the app is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from an inaccurate offer published by a shop, from service interruptions, or from your dealings with any shop. In all cases our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Wafra name, logo and app design belong to us. Shop names, logos and photographs belong to their owners and are shown with their permission.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
